Description: Donald Trump's Save America PAC announced this week that the twice-impeached former President would be heading to Wyoming at the end of May to boost a primary challenger to Liz Cheney. Cheney already has a comfortable fundraising lead in the state, but recent polling suggests that she might be in trouble as the primary draws near. And Trump is going to be spending big to target his enemies, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains. Donald Trump's save America. Political action committee announced this week that the twice impeached former president is gonna be heading up to the great state of Wyoming on May 28th of this month to campaign for Maggie Haman, who is of course, Sorry, scrap it. It's not Maggie. I'm thinking of the New York times rat writer 3, 2, 1 this week, Donald Trump's save America. Political action committee announced that on May 28th. So in just a couple of weeks, the twice impeached former president is heading to that great state of Wyoming to campaign for Harriet Haman, who happens to be the number one Republican challenging Liz Chaney for her house seat. Hagman has already been endorsed by Donald Trump. Because again, she's running against Liz, Chaney, whom do Donald Trump hates, and now he thought, you know what? Now's a good time for me to get off my rear end, spend a little bit of money and go up there and try to seal the deal. And to his credit Hagman happens to be one candidate that Trump is endorsed that has not suffered a decline in polling after getting the endorsement. And while Liz Chaney is currently creeping back up in those poles, she is trailing Harriet by double digits at the moment. I think it's in the teens right now. I think it's about 16 points and she is climbing a little bit. She has millions of dollars on hand, Liz, Chaney. She has raised money from all over the country, but that doesn't matter at all. You know, as I've said, a million times that we saw this play out, uh, specifically I think the big one that comes to mind obviously is Beto O'Rourke versus Ted Cruz. O'Rourke raised millions and millions of dollars, but still couldn't beat Ted Cruz because a lot of that money was, is coming from outta state. We saw it with Mitch McConnell's democratic challenger in 2020, same thing with, uh, Lindsay Graham's democratic challenger in 2020, they raise a lot of money. They raise money, more money than their opponents. But when that money comes from out of state for a state race, it doesn't mean anything and people need to under stand that, you know, just because you gave them a hundred bucks, that doesn't change anything because you still don't get to vote there. Not saying people should only leave money in their home states, but actually I think I'm exactly saying that, sorry, but that's kind of the way it should be in most races. There's obvious exceptions, but I think for the most part, if you can't vote for that person, maybe, maybe be a little stingier. A lot of people I think are gonna disagree with me on that. However, it doesn't work to our advantage. We've seen that happen too many times. Same thing right now obviously is happening with Liz Chaney, right? She's got deep ties to Wisconsin, uh, excuse me, Wyoming, family ties, you know, Dick Chaney, she's got the name recognition. She's got 3.8 million, I think cash on hand. And she's losing by double digits to this person that Trump is endorsed and Trump sees this happening, but he also sees Chaney gaining a little around. So he's gonna swoop in and try to finish the deal.
