Description: Ukrainian pyrotechnics of the state emergency service conducted 24 mine clearance operations on Monday, to destruct mines left during the war between Ukrainian and Russian forces in Chernihiv. At least 292 explosive objects, including em210 cluster elements, 99 units, 86 artillery shells, four mortar mines and 103 hand grenades were found during the operations. An area of 77 hectares in Chernihiv and Nezhinsky districts of the region was surveyed. At least 3,381 civilians have been killed and 3,680 others injured in Ukraine since the war with Russia began on Feb. 24, according to UN estimates. The true toll is feared to be much higher. More than 5.8 million people have fled to other countries, with some 7.7 million people internally displaced, according to the UN refugee agency.
