Description: This is how we traveled from the USA to Brazil spending US$45 per person to go all the way to the interior of the state of Sao Paulo. After using air miles for the flights with Delta Airlines, we only needed to pay the plane/airport fees and the domestic transport within Brazil. We ended up getting 4 modes of transportation - plane, train, subway, and bus - and taking 32 hours to reach the final destination, a city called Ribeirao Preto. It may seem a long time, but flying within Brazil would have only saved an hour due to the wait time for a connecting flight. This is a trip we do at least twice a year but never shared the details here on YouTube as we normally turn on the "vacation mode" to visit family. Now you'll see the full adventure 😉. And if you're wondering why the extra $5 for the full round-trip ($45 x 4 = $180), that's because the bus on the way back was slightly more expensive. --- SUBSCRIBE to discover the world with us ► bit.ly/Renata_YouTube --- Traveling to/from Brazil spending $185 in total: 00:00 - Summary of the trip Florida-Brazil 00:39 - Flight to New York 01:11 - Not so happy experience with my carry-on 02:25 - Travel requirements to Brazil 03:16 - Flight New York-Sao Paulo 05:04 - Aiport Express Train 07:23 - Subway to the bus terminal 08:01 - Tiete bus terminal 09:13 - Bus to Ribeirao Preto 11:42 - Family time in Ribeirao Preto 12:26 - And about the carry-on... #RenataInBrazil #RenataInTheUSA #RenataInSaoPaulo #RenataInRibeiraoPreto #RenataInSouthAmerica #Brazil #traveltobrazil Want to travel and create videos? I am a Brazilian journalist living in the United States. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life! P.S.: The funny guy who appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and he's actually camera-shy, that's why he's behind the camera most of the time 😉 --- NEW VIDEO ►►► goo.gl/rhM6Pw ---
