The true purpose of this trip however is a scouting mission in search of new locations for the upcoming fall season and after spending a couple of days atop this location, I'll certainly be back in a few weeks once the glory of Autumn kicks off! This location has it all though, mountains, incredible hard wood trees, rocky and gnarly cliffs and the list goes on. In this video, I spend an evening atop a gorge in the Blue Ridge Mountains photographing this incredible location under sunset light and then return the following morning for sunrise in search of additional compositions to revisit. Plus, I relearn a valuable lesson that I'm typically pretty aware of, but this time my rushing around completely ruined one of the images I captured.
